First Visit Experience

It is always our goal to have you be seen as quickly as possible, the same day whenever possible. The faster you can be seen, the sooner you can feel better, move better and as a result, live better.
Brief Paperwork

After entering the clinic, we have some short printed material for you to fill out. The printed material gives us general data about yourself and the condition that is causing you to seek treatment. [In Progress: Zumbrota Chiropractic offers our patient forms online so they can be finished in the accommodation of your own home or office.]


Once the printed material has been filled out, you will have a consultation with the doctor to talk about your condition. Other things that could be discussed includes your well-being, related issues, worries, and other options or suggestions.

History and Examination

With a specific end goal to figure out what your genuine issue is, the doctor will pose different questions in order to identify the cause of your ailment. Next, various particular tests will be performed to figure out which parts of your spine, motor and sensory systems are affected.

X-ray Studies

Our clinic does not own or operate an x-ray machine. In the rare cases where it is determined that a radiographic study should be performed before any treatment is rendered, the doctor will let you know and discuss your options with you at that time. Generally, Dr. Post believes that less ionizing radiation is better and does not want to have to perform studies, just to help pay for an expensive x-ray suite.

Home Instructions

Preceding leaving, patients will be given directions on specific exercises or procedures that may be needed to be performed at home. This may incorporate ice or warmth application directions, avoidance of specific exercises, activities or positions, and any addition home activities that may be needed.
